Tayla Harris badge

Last night Michael Wilson’s fantastic shot of a flying Tayla Harris was taken down from a  website after a vile troll attack. Our friend Rebecca Hayne suggested we should turn it into a new NBA-style logo for the league. It’s a spectacular image capturing an elite female athlete at her peak. Hopefully it become an iconic image and a turning point for the women’s league. Because  women footballers have had to endure a relentless torrent of disgusting online attacks simply for being women. It’s assault, and for some reason the big stakeholders responsible for promoting women’s footy have been reluctant to step in and do something about it. This abuse would not be tolerated in a stadium, so why should professional female athletes (or anyone for that matter) have to endure it anywhere else? Just because the attacks are faceless doesn’t mean that their words aren’t harmful or that no one has to be responsible for them. We #standbytayla. $3 from the sale of every badge will go to Rebecca’s favourite charity, the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation. Their incredible work helping to preserve Indigenous languages and increase literacy standards was recently recognised at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Thanks for picking up a tee and helping do some good.

We mail domestic orders via local couriers and Australia Post. Delivery to metro areas usually takes 1-3 days once the item has been sent (Perth may take longer). This is a general guide and delivery times can vary, especially during bushfires and weather events.
