Tucked besides the Essendon Bowls Club, Windy Hill was where the Napier Sreet natives came to sing in the Showers Stand. The scene of the infamous Windy Hill Brawl, it was a gritty ground - the perfect place for a back pocket plumber. Who tied down the Windy Hill Windsock? It must've been a martian.
